Abbey joined the Russell Lab as a first-year PhD student in 2021. She completed her undergraduate degree at UC Davis, where she became interested in climate and atmospheric sciences. In her research, she is interested in how aerosol particles influence cloud processes and properties, particularly in mixed-phase clouds. Outside of academics, Abbey enjoys skiing, riding horses, and spending her time outdoors.
