Chia-Li (Candice) joined the Russell group as a postdoctoral scholar in August 2015. She received her PhD in Chemical and Environmental Engineering from University of California, Riverside. At the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, she characterized organic aerosol chemical composition properties associated with residential burning and fog in wintertime Fresno and with vehicle and firework emissions in summertime Fontana. She participated in four NAAMES field campaigns and identified different types of particles for marine and sea spray aerosols using HR-ToF-AMS with single-particle measurement methods and PMF analysis. She is currently working on aerosol chemical speciation analysis and aerosol physical properties measurement method evaluation at the California Air Resources Board.
